Overview

Plot turns a business description into a website that users can edit in a live editor. A clinic site can bring services and indicative prices, clinician profiles, first-visit information, policies, contact details, a map and opening hours together in one place. Patient forms are supported too, making this a practical foundation for a clinic’s public-facing information.

Patients request an appointment time and receive confirmation by email. The practice sets the days and hours available and how far ahead patients can request a slot. That gives clinics control over their booking window, but the flow is a request followed by confirmation, not an automatically confirmed appointment.

Key features

Clinic pages and editing

Plot says it offers 168 designs, with booking, menus, galleries and team sections supported across every design. Users can edit, replace or rearrange sections independently in the live editor, so changing one area need not disturb the rest of the site. That flexibility is useful for practices refining patient information over time, though the design count alone does not establish which layout will suit a particular clinic.

AI generation and data handling

AI can generate a site from a business description and assist with live edits. Monthly allowances differ by plan; after they run out, users can still edit and publish, but cannot generate new AI content until the next billing cycle. Plot says generated content users choose to create is sent to Google through Cloudflare AI Gateway and Cloudflare Workers AI. It also says it hashes account passwords, uses one essential sign-in cookie, and does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Plot describes GDPR rights including access, correction, erasure, portability, objection and restriction, with safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EU/EEA.

Pricing

The free plan costs 0.00 USD and allows unlimited building and previewing, with all sections and themes and no card required. It is useful for preparing a site before committing, but publishing requires payment. There is no free trial.

Starter: 19.99 USD per month, billed monthly, or 191.88 USD per year, billed annually. It includes one published site on a Plot subdomain, 5 AI generations, 30 AI regenerations and 10 AI-generated images per month, plus basic email support. This is the lowest-cost publishing option, but it does not include a custom domain or unlimited bookings.
Business: 29.99 USD per month, billed monthly, or 287.88 USD per year, billed annually. It adds one custom domain, unlimited bookings, email marketing campaigns, 15 AI generations, 100 regenerations and 50 AI-generated images per month, and priority email support with a stated response time under 24 hours. This is the stronger fit for a single practice that wants its own domain and more booking and AI capacity.
Studio: 49.99 USD per month, billed monthly. It includes three sites with custom domains, unlimited bookings on every site, 30 pooled AI generations, 300 regenerations and 200 AI-generated images per month, and a 30-minute onboarding video call. The pooled generation allowance means multiple sites share that quota; it is most relevant to a maker managing several clinic sites.

Starter and Business are also offered annually at the stated annual prices. AI allowances reset by billing cycle, and exhausting them pauses new AI generation rather than editing or publishing.

Platforms

Plot runs on the web. The published platform scope is a natural fit for clinics managing their site in a browser, rather than a dedicated mobile app workflow.

Who it's for

Plot suits small clinics and practices, particularly those that need a straightforward mix of service information, staff profiles and appointment requests. Its dental-clinic example makes the patient-facing use case clear. Clinics that require patients to book confirmed appointments without a follow-up email should look for a different booking flow.

Pros and cons

Pros: Free building and previewing with all sections and themes lets a practice develop its site before paying to publish.
Pros: Clinic-specific content and request-based booking bring practical patient information and appointment handling into one website.
Pros: Sections can be rearranged independently, and every design supports the named core section types.
Cons: Publishing is not free, and Starter uses a Plot subdomain rather than a custom domain.
Cons: Appointment requests require email confirmation, so this is not the same as instant self-service booking.
Cons: AI quotas vary by tier and stop new generation when depleted; the Studio generations are pooled across its sites.

Alternatives

For a broader medical-site shortlist, see Medical Website Builders; for a dental-specific shortlist, see Dental Website Builders. FrontDesk is another web-based freemium option, with a free tier that includes a booking page, dashboard, AI minutes, staff calling minutes and texts; it is worth comparing if those communications tools matter more than Plot’s clinic-site editing. ClinicSite is a paid web alternative with a free trial and a ClinicSite Pro plan at 99.00 USD per year, including one year of domain web hosting and email support.

Verdict

Choose Plot if your practice wants a clinic-focused website, editable layouts and controlled appointment requests without paying to build and preview. Its main advantage is the combination of patient information and booking requests; its main limitation is that patients request a time rather than confirming a booking directly, while publishing and higher AI capacity require paid tiers.
