SummarizeDocs

SummarizeDocs turns documents and pasted text into summaries in key-point, paragraph, or one-line form. It accepts PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint files, Excel, Markdown, JSON, and pasted text, with short, medium, or long output lengths. The site says PDF text extraction happens in the browser before the text is sent to a model for summary generation. It also says original documents are not stored and guest and free summaries are never stored. Anonymous visitors have two lifetime uses tracked by cookie. An email-verified free account gets 10 credits, with 10 more available through an invite code. Credit use varies with document length. The free tier has a 10K-character maximum; Pro and credit-pack tiers have a 50K-character maximum, with those limits applying at general availability. Pro and some credit packs include DOCX or PDF export. The Free plan is free. A 100-credit pack costs $4.99, paid once; Pro monthly costs $9.99 a month, and Pro yearly costs $79 a year. The service is web-based and lists researchers, founders, recruiters, lawyers, students, analysts, and busy readers among its intended users.
