Portfoliobox
Portfoliobox is a browser-based website builder for creating and managing portfolio sites without downloading software or configuring hosting. It offers hundreds of templates, which users can customize or mix across pages, and gallery layouts such as grid, masonry, slideshow, and lightbox. The free plan costs nothing, requires no credit card, and can remain online without a time limit. It includes five pages, 30 images, a Portfoliobox subdomain, and a mobile-responsive site. Templates adapt to desktop, tablet, and mobile screens. Paid plans add domains, storage, commerce, bookings, invoicing, email, and analytics. Professional users can sell physical products and digital files without Portfoliobox commission; other business tools include appointments, scheduling, quotes, QR-code in-person payments, and file sharing. SEO fields, an automatic sitemap, built-in analytics, and support for Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel are available. All plans include hosting, SSL certificates, and email support. The Personal plan costs €8.90 a month, and Professional costs €15.90 a month. Prices exclude VAT, which depends on billing country.
Readymag
Readymag is a web-based design tool for creating websites, landing pages, portfolios, and other online projects. Its editor offers free composition, customizable grids and guides, and a drag-and-drop WYSIWYG interface. The Free plan costs nothing, billed monthly, and includes one published project, up to 10 pages, desktop, mobile, and tablet layouts, and animations. Widgets can animate on load, scroll, hover, or click; Lottie animations and Bézier motion paths are supported. Free also includes more than 5,000 free fonts and more than 2 million Unsplash photos. Integrations include Ecwid, Stripe, Shopify, Gumroad, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Matomo, and Hotjar; tools with embed code can also be added. Paid plans support HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, while Free allows iframe code only. Readymag supports custom domains and automatically issues and updates SSL certificates for them, but users cannot connect their own certificates. Editing is unavailable on smartphones and tablets, and in-app browsers are not supported for viewing published projects. Readymag was founded in 2013.
