In their own words
PostMimic
PostMimic builds a model of a user’s writing voice from connected social accounts or uploaded posts and drafts, then uses it to prepare social content. Drafts can be reviewed, edited, or approved before publication, and content is rewritten for each supported network: X, LinkedIn, Facebook Pages, and Instagram. Brand rules can guide generations with topics, forbidden words, alliances, and other content guidelines. Paid subscriptions add cloud scheduling that can publish with the user’s computer off. The Free plan costs nothing and includes five cloud AI posts as a one-time allowance, one profile, all four platforms, basic analytics, and a read-only web portal. Starter costs $19 a month, billed monthly, with 200 cloud AI posts per month and one profile. Cloud AI uses DeepSeek by default; users can instead provide keys for DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, or xAI, or run local models through Ollama. Paid plans also list image generation, a content library, analytics, and manual DM replies; higher tiers add automation and Agent Mode. PostMimic is available on Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows.
Postology
Postology creates scheduled social posts from a brand’s voice and visual style. It generates captions and matching AI images using the brand’s tone, aesthetic, and messaging pillars. Users can define content pillars and weights for automatic rotation, or set a goal, timeframe, and message for a campaign. Generated captions and visuals go through a review and approval step before Instagram publishing. Postology connects to Buffer.com for direct Instagram publishing; the page says more channels are coming. Multi-brand projects keep separate brand systems, plans, and publishing schedules, which suits work across clients or brands. The web product is in private beta, with access offered through a waitlist. Its free plan is free and includes one project, 10 AI posts per month, two evergreen tracks, one active campaign, one publishing connection, three reference image uploads, and a watermark. Starter costs €19 a month; Pro costs €59 a month. The maker identifies Postology as a product of Aurum Avis Labs in Oberägeri, Switzerland.
