Power Planner vs Yoodoo

Power Planner is a student homework planner that syncs assignments, class schedules, grades, and GPA across devices. Students can enter homework and exams with due dates and receive automatic reminders, then add class times and room locations to view a weekly schedule. The app tracks grades by class, calculates GPA across semesters, and includes a “What If?” mode for planning ahead. Classes and homework can appear in Google Calendar. It supports standard and rotating A/B week schedules, but not fully custom non-A/B class schedules; the maker also says there is no Canvas or Blackboard integration. The Free plan costs nothing and is limited to one semester, five grades per class, one repeating bulk task or event entry, and one photo attachment per item. Premium is a one-time lifetime purchase listed at $4.99 a month, with unlimited semesters and more than five grades per class. Power Planner is available on Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, and web browsers, with web marked beta. An online account is optional; local-account data stays on the device.

Yoodoo is an ADHD daily planner and time-blocking app for ADHD and busy brains, available on Android and iOS. Its visual timeline lets users place tasks in time slots, while InstaPlan turns a brain-dumped list into a structured schedule with one tap. Unfinished tasks move forward automatically when plans are interrupted. A focus timer includes brown-noise, rain, and cafe-ambience sounds; app blocking is also available. AI can break larger tasks into concrete smaller steps. The free plan includes the full planner, with visual time-blocking, smart to-do lists, focus timer, routines, habit tracking, and auto-rescheduling. Pro adds InstaPlan, AI task breakdown, app blocking, two-way calendar sync, and priority support. The app listing names Google Calendar, iCal, and Outlook. Yoodoo says app data stays on the device and is never sold; optional AI-coach email addresses are deleted after three months. Pro backups run every 12 hours using Google Drive on Android or Apple iCloud on iOS, but the two platforms' backups are not cross-compatible. The maker is based in London, United Kingdom. Pro Monthly is listed at $4.99 a month; Lifetime is listed at $99.99 a month.
