In their own words
Presenton
Presenton generates editable PPTX and PDF presentations from prompts, documents, and data. Users can edit slides on a canvas or refine them with chat-based AI editing. An existing PPTX can become a reusable design system preserving colors, typography, spacing, and layout rules. The Cloud v3 API accepts prompts, files, URLs, Markdown, JSON, and slide-specific content, and exports PPTX, PDF, and PNG. It supports REST requests, asynchronous jobs, webhooks, and scoped iframe embedding. Self-hosted deployments can use OpenAI-compatible endpoints or local models through Ollama. The desktop application is described as free on Windows, macOS, and Linux with no usage limits; self-hosted/open-source use is free under Apache 2.0. Each generated slide uses one credit. Enterprise deployments can run in customer-controlled cloud, VPC, on-premises, or air-gapped environments, with added access, audit, networking, retention, and support options.
Slaide
Slaide creates slide decks from plain-text .slaide files and renders them as web presentations, print-ready PDFs, or editable PowerPoint files. Its AI can plan a presentation’s story, choose a theme, write slides, and review its work while the user steers the process. You can also import PowerPoint or Keynote decks into editable .slaide files. Coach provides spoken, slide-by-slide rehearsal with timing and pace feedback, and can suggest a fix for a point missed on a slide. Decks can include incremental reveals, transitions, video, audio, sandboxed live embeds, and speaker notes. Slaide provides an Agent Skill and MCP server for agents to scaffold, validate, and render decks. Existing decks can be opened, edited, and presented offline in the iPhone and iPad app. Free Mac and Windows desktop apps can view, present, and export decks without an account or network connection. The Free plan is $0 forever and includes one cloud-AI deck of up to 10 slides; further cloud AI requires a Day Pass or Slaide Hosted plan.
