Prevail CheckMate
Prevail CheckMate combines live deposition transcription, shared notes, and AI analysis for legal teams. Its searchable transcription identifies speakers during in-person, hybrid, and remote proceedings, with timestamps and legal formatting. Participants can format notes, share them, tag colleagues, and communicate during a proceeding. CheckMate streams live transcripts and notes through a secure API to an organization’s chosen language-model provider, including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini, Azure OpenAI/Copilot, Consilio, and Ollama. Prevail’s native option needs no outside provider account, API key, or setup. Users can search uploaded files for relevant passages and file names, then continue conversations with follow-up questions in CheckMate Chat. The browser-based platform includes sessions, transcripts, file storage, review, and administrative tools without an additional software download. CheckMate is an add-on requested when scheduling and carries additional fees; pricing is on request. Connecting a personal AI provider requires that provider’s API key and other credentials. Prevail states that customer data is not used to train AI models without permission.
