Prometheus
Prometheus is an online professional development platform with more than 400 courses and professional programs. It serves learners looking for basic knowledge as well as those pursuing specialized professional skills, with flexible scheduling and self-paced study. The platform runs on open-source Open edX, which supports video lectures, notes, presentations, varied tests and discussion forums. It is available on the web, Android and iOS. Massive open online courses and their certification are free, while Prometheus PLUS courses are paid. A verified-certificate subscription provides identity checks across eligible courses without a course-count limit; exams use a webcam and analysis of learner behavior to check that the test taker matches the certificate name. The listed annual verified-certificate subscription costs 500 UAH a year. Prometheus also offers corporate courses and closed learning groups with progress tracking and individual participant support. The maker is based in Kyiv, Ukraine, and was founded in 2014.
Stepik
Stepik is an educational platform and online-course builder with automatic assignment checking.
