In their own words
Pronto
Pronto provides appointment booking, point of sale, client CRM, inventory tracking, and automated reminders for salons and related businesses. It is presented for beauty, hair, and nail salons, barbershops, spas, lash studios, and tattoo studios. Clients can book online using only a name and phone number, without an account or app download. The point of sale supports cash, card, and transfer, discounts, printed or digital receipts, and offline checkout. Booking confirmations and reminders can be sent through Email, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Viber. Businesses can link a booking page from Instagram or Google and import client lists from Fresha, Vagaro, Booksy, Mindbody, Square, or another platform that exports CSV. Cloud users can export client data and history; self-hosted data stays on the user's server. The free plan allows one staff member, 100 clients, 50 bookings per month, and 100 products. Starter costs $19 a month and includes five staff, unlimited clients and bookings, and 2,000 products. Pronto runs on the web and supports self-hosting on Linux, macOS, or Windows with WSL2; self-hosting uses Docker Compose and requires at least 1 GB RAM.
ZibaDesk
ZibaDesk is a beauty CRM for salons and clinics that combines appointments, point of sale, customer records, and online booking. Client profiles can hold appointment, service, product, and payment histories, as well as formulas, colour codes, sensitivities, preferences, contraindications, and consent. The CRM shows client lifetime spend, visit frequency, and rebooking rate. Users can segment clients and send targeted SMS and WhatsApp campaigns; points and rewards apply automatically at checkout. The maker also lists gift cards, SMS reminders, multi-language support, and offline-first POS. The interface supports English, Persian, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, French, and German, with right-to-left support for Persian and Arabic. Integrations include Stripe Payments, ClickSend SMS, WhatsApp Messaging, Tyro EFTPOS, and Xero. Xero sync sends completed sales as paid GST invoices with line items and matched customer contacts for businesses using AUD or NZD. Historical migration is not included by default, and only sales rung through after connecting and enabling auto-sync are sent. A 14-day Pro trial requires no credit card; Pro costs A$19.99 a month per business.
