Relic
Relic is a clipboard manager that captures copied items on desktop and syncs them across devices. On phones, users must share items to Relic or use a shortcut or tile. Search can use text, meaning, date phrases and text extracted from screenshots. Tagging, OCR, image captioning and semantic search run on the user's device, without cloud AI. Vault items can be titled, tagged, annotated, saved and given reminders. A command-line tool can read and search a vault, and the help guide describes connecting AI agents to search, save and retrieve items. Relic encrypts content on-device with XChaCha20-Poly1305 and derives the wrapping key using Argon2id; the server stores encrypted content. The maker says it cannot read content, titles, notes or tags, while collecting service metadata such as account email and item counts. The apps, sync server, encryption code and self-host stack are open source. Self-hosting is free under AGPL-3.0. The hosted Free plan supports three synced devices and 250 MB; Pro is $5 a month billed yearly, or $7 month to month.
