In their own words
QAlity Plus
QAlity Plus is a Jira-native test management app from SolDevelo for bringing QA into development workflows. Test cases are Jira issues with individual steps, and Jira issue links can connect them to requirements. Teams can run tests in Jira, record each step as pass or fail, and group cases into cycles aligned with sprints or releases. Cycle tracking includes progress and blocked status. When a test exposes a problem, users can create a bug report with its description and reproduction steps filled in automatically, then associate the bug with the execution. Reports cover traceability from requirements through defects; execution reports show status and assignee charts and can be exported. The Advanced plan adds automated testing integrations, including JUnit XML result imports, and APIs are available for scripted integrations. The free QAlity plan costs nothing and allows up to 25 test executions daily, with test cases, cycles, and attachments. QAlity Plus has a 30-day free trial.
TestBench
TestBench supports software testing from planning and design through execution and result recording. It handles manual and automated testing, helping teams organize tests, monitor progress, and analyze outcomes. Keyword-driven testing uses reusable building blocks without complex programming, while data-driven testing runs scenarios with different test data without rewriting scripts. TestBench connects with requirements management, defect management, and test automation tools; automation tools can connect through the iTEP plug-in, and defect information can synchronize with connected systems. The product can be integrated into CI/CD pipelines. Integrated version and configuration management provides traceability and revision security for test results. The included iTORX execution assistant works online and offline. TestBench runs on web and Windows, offers requirements linking, test case management, planning, run tracking, QA reporting, automation integrations, and API access. Flexible annual licensing, including floating licenses, is available, with basic support, updates, and upgrades included in rental pricing. A free trial can be requested; paid pricing is provided on request.
