In their own words
Qualaroo
Qualaroo gathers customer insights and contextual feedback through in-app surveys called Nudges. Teams can use it to study website and app experiences, collect product feedback, investigate conversion issues and look for ways to improve user experience. Nudges support targeting, branching logic, triggers, branding, more than 10 question types and surveys in 100+ languages. Heatmaps and session recordings show clicks, scrolling and drop-off behavior alongside feedback. For free-text responses, Qualaroo lists IBM Watson sentiment analysis, word clouds and reporting tools. Its iOS and Android SDKs support in-app feedback, and integrations include Salesforce, Tableau, Intercom, Zapier, Slack, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics and webhooks. A free plan includes 50 responses, 500 email sends and 10k pageviews; Essentials costs $39.99 a month. The 14-day trial includes Essentials and Premium features, but CSV response downloads and branding suppression require a paid plan. Qualaroo lists live chat support 24/7, weekday phone support and email responses within one business day.
SurveyJS
SurveyJS is a set of JavaScript components for building surveys, quizzes, polls, and web forms, then storing responses and displaying results. Its free, open-source Form Library renders JSON-based forms in React, Angular, Vue, and plain JavaScript applications. It supports more than 20 question types, conditional logic, validation, multilingual forms, and right-to-left languages. Survey Creator provides a drag-and-drop designer that generates JSON schemas. Dashboard displays results through interactive charts, tables, word clouds, and aggregated statistics; PDF Generator creates editable PDF forms and exports submissions. The libraries run in a customer’s application and can connect to any backend or database. SurveyJS says it does not access, process, or store survey data; customers choose and manage their own data storage and protections. React, Angular, and Vue have native support, while jQuery uses a wrapper over the Vanilla JavaScript version. The Form Library is free, but Survey Creator, Dashboard, and PDF Generator require commercial licenses for production use. Commercial developer licenses are required for each developer working with those product APIs or implementing integrations.
