QuillBot
QuillBot is a set of AI tools for writing, communication, design, coding, and collaboration across platforms and formats. Its writing tools include paraphrasing, grammar and plagiarism checking, AI detection and humanizing, summarizing, and citation generation. The Free plan allows paraphrasing up to 100 words in two modes, with basic grammar and summaries plus limited access to humanizing and the AI Detector. The Premium comparison lists paraphrasing in 23 languages and translation into more than 40 languages. QuillBot offers desktop and mobile apps for macOS, Windows, Android, and iOS, alongside Chrome, Edge, and Safari extensions. Its desktop app can appear as a widget in apps including Slack, Notes, and Messages; Premium also lists a Word add-in. QuillBot says one subscription works across its apps and platforms, with Premium usable on up to 10 devices at a time. Team plans add writer-management dashboards and centralized billing, while Team Plan benefits include priority assistance and account-management support. Writefull
Writefull provides AI language feedback, writing tools, and data insights for research writing. Its language models are trained on academic texts and suggest improvements to grammar, word use, style, and phrasing. Other tools can paraphrase, change style, split or join sentences, summarize or explain text, and generate titles and abstracts. Writefull integrates with Overleaf, offering LaTeX-tailored feedback, TeXGPT, and table and equation generators. Its Microsoft Word add-in works with Windows, Mac, and Word Online. The service is available on the web, Windows, macOS, and as a browser extension. The Overleaf extension supports Chrome, Chromium, and Brave; Writefull Revise supports Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Chromium-based Edge. Revise returns edits through Track Changes and is limited to publishers and institutions. A free plan has limited quotas for language editing and rewriting. Writefull says it does not store users’ text, use text or interactions to train its AI, or sell data to third parties.
