In their own words
rclone
Rclone is a free command-line program for managing files on cloud storage. It can back up and restore files, mirror or migrate data, mount storage as a disk, and combine file systems. The project lists more than 70 cloud storage products, including Amazon S3, Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, and Backblaze B2. Sync options include copying changed files, one-way sync, and two-way bisync. Rclone checks MD5 and SHA1 hashes, preserves timestamps, and can restart operations. Where supported, it transfers between providers without using local disk. It can mount local, cloud, or virtual file systems and serve files over SFTP, HTTP, WebDAV, FTP, and DLNA. Rclone is also available through scripts and an API. Its crypt remote encrypts files before upload and decrypts them after download, but leaves file length and modification time unencrypted. The crypt password in the configuration file is only lightly obscured unless configuration encryption is enabled. The web-based GUI is described as experimental, and Android builds are not yet first-class builds.
Serv-U Managed File Transfer Server
Serv-U Managed File Transfer Server is self-hosted software for exchanging files within an organization and with business partners. It supports FTP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTP, and HTTPS over IPv4 and IPv6. Its web and mobile interfaces handle drag-and-drop transfers of files larger than 3 GB and folder synchronization. Users can send or request files through a secure web page, set expiry dates, and email a download link; shared files can also be password protected or automatically deleted after a configurable period. Administrators use a centralized web console to manage users, groups, domains, permissions, sessions, and logs. Integrations include Active Directory, LDAP, external databases, and file storage. Security features include FIPS 140-2 validated cryptography and multifactor authentication. Event-driven actions can send email, run programs, delete files, or write Windows event log messages. The plan costs $335 a month per server, billed annually, and includes unlimited domains, user accounts, and concurrent sessions. A fully functional 14-day trial is available without a credit card.
