Overview

WPS Presentation is a slide editor in the WPS Office suite, suited to people who move between PowerPoint files, desktop and mobile devices, and online collaboration. Its broad platform support and file-conversion tools make it flexible; the free plan’s 1 GB of cloud space and limited template downloads are meaningful constraints.

Key features

Slide creation and presenting

WPS AI can generate slides, refine content, match visuals, and prepare speaker notes, which may help move from an outline to a presentable draft. Presenter tools, more than 80 animations, and morph transitions support delivery and slide design. AI assistance is useful, but the product’s appeal does not depend on it: offline editing and text editing are also supported.

Compatibility, conversion, and collaboration

Import and export for .pptx, .ppt, and .ppsx make WPS Presentation a practical choice when PowerPoint files are part of the workflow; WPS states 100% compatibility. It can convert PDFs into editable slides and presentations into PDFs. Real-time collaboration includes viewing, editing, or commenting permissions and version history, giving teams more control over how a deck is shared.

The WPS Office workspace brings Writer, Spreadsheet, Presentation, and PDF tools together. That integration is useful for people who want document and presentation work in one suite, while OCR, annotation, form creation, and track changes add document-oriented capabilities beyond slide creation.

Pricing

WPS Standard has no listed price and requires no credit card. It includes 1 GB of cloud storage, 47 file formats, and 46 languages. The free plan also has limited template downloads, so it is a sensible starting point for occasional use, but less suited to users who need more cloud capacity or broad template access.

WPS Pro+ costs 5.83 USD per month, billed $69.99/Year, for one year, and includes 20 GB of cloud storage. It is the individual upgrade for users who outgrow the free storage allowance. WPS also lists a 30-day money-back guarantee.

WPS Pro+ Sharing Plan costs 41.99 USD per free, billed $41.99/Year/user. It includes a 3-day free trial, requires at least two users, and provides 20 GB of cloud storage per member. The per-user annual billing and minimum seats make this the relevant option for a small group rather than a solo buyer. The pricing note also gives paid plans as starting from $41.99/user/yr and mentions a 3-day trial; compare the plan terms carefully before choosing.

Platforms

WPS Presentation supports Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, iPad, and web access. Desktop and mobile apps, along with offline editing, suit people who need to work across devices or without a connection.

Who it's for

Choose WPS Presentation if you need a cross-platform slide editor that can handle PowerPoint files, convert PDFs, and combine offline work with real-time sharing. It is a weaker fit if you need generous free cloud storage, unrestricted template downloads, or a single-user paid tier at the sharing plan’s per-user price.

Pros and cons

Pros: PowerPoint import and export, plus PDF conversion, cover several common exchange and distribution needs.
Pros: Offline editing and support across desktop, mobile, and web make it adaptable to different work settings.
Pros: Sharing permissions and version history give collaborators more than basic access to a shared deck.
Cons: The free plan’s 1 GB cloud allowance and limited template downloads may restrict regular or storage-heavy use.
Cons: The Sharing Plan requires at least two users, so it is not structured for an individual buyer.
Cons: Pro+ billing is presented as a monthly amount alongside an annual charge, so buyers should distinguish the stated term from the displayed monthly equivalent.

Alternatives

Microsoft PowerPoint is worth considering if its 5 GB cloud storage on the one-person plan better fits your needs. Zoho Show offers a free plan with a 500 MB maximum upload size, a different constraint for users comparing no-cost options. WPS Office is the broader suite alternative if you want Writer, Spreadsheet, Presentation, and PDF tools together. Pitch may suit teams interested in its free plan’s five members, two external guests, and 10 GB total storage. arg.ai is another freemium presentation option. Apple Keynote is an alternative for users on iOS and macOS who want free creation, editing, and real-time collaboration. ONLYOFFICE Presentation Editor is an alternative with Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, self-hosted, web, and Windows platforms. Slaide is an alternative whose language, CLI, themes, importers, MCP server, and native desktop viewer use the Apache-2.0 license.

Verdict

WPS Presentation is a strong fit for people who need a flexible, cross-platform way to create, convert, and share slide decks, especially when PowerPoint compatibility and offline editing matter. Its strongest reason to choose it is the combination of file support, conversion, and collaboration in one suite; look elsewhere if the free storage cap is too tight or you need a paid plan designed for one person at a lower commitment.
