Remaker AI vs VidMage

Remaker AI is a creative platform focused on image editing and AI video generation. Its photo editor can change selected parts of an image or apply edits described with a prompt. Other image tools include upscaling, background removal, photo effects, portraits, tattoo generation, and object erasing. Video features include AI generation, face swaps, and templates for short-form clips; supported video length is up to 30 minutes. Its API documentation lists face swaps, upscaling, video generation, background removal, and other tools. New users receive free credits for generating and exporting images and videos without a watermark. Remaker describes its web platform as the way to use the service and says there is currently no official app. Credit purchases are one-time payments, and credits do not expire. Packages range from 5.99 USD for 200 credits to 299.00 USD for 20,000 credits. The service says commercial use is not supported. It also says Stripe processes payments and it does not store card information; its terms limit refund eligibility to a first purchase, no more than 50 credits used, and a request within three days.

VidMage is a video and image creation platform for creators, available on the web and macOS. Video tools cover text-to-video, image-to-video, video-to-video and motion control; image tools create pictures from text or restyle existing images. It brings models such as Kling, Seedance, Hailuo and GPT Image together, alongside image upscaling, object removal and video enhancement. The free plan costs nothing and includes daily web allowances for image, video and GIF swaps, plus watermarked live swapping and short video previews on Mac. Paid plans include 400 credits per month: the Yearly Plan is $8.33 a year, billed $8.33 /month, and the Monthly Plan is $14.99 a month, billed $14.99 /month. Listed capabilities include photo and video support, videos up to five minutes, 4K output, watermark-free exports and batch processing. Beta REST API and MCP access require an active subscription and API key; the documentation does not recommend them for production use. Web media is automatically deleted within two hours and is not used for AI training; supported Mac face swaps run locally.
