Spacetalk Schools App
Spacetalk Schools App is a free school communication app for sharing news, alerts, events, cancellations and newsletters with parents, teachers and school leaders. Schools select which updates to send, and users can choose areas of interest to tailor what they see. The app supports posts, galleries and top news, with analytics showing which articles parents read and which content they engage with. Through the Outreach+ integration, school leaders can post news and send messages from any device. Parent contacts sync to students, and the app supports absence and emergency messages. Its maker says delivery switches to two-way SMS if connectivity is lost. Only registered parents and caregivers can access school information, student data, news and images. Spacetalk says its school solutions meet government data security requirements; its privacy policy describes storing personal data on secure systems in Australia and handling it under Australian privacy law.
