Remote Counsel
Remote Counsel provides software, services and support for court reporting firms managing depositions and other legal proceedings. Participants can join by video or audio, follow streaming video and text, annotate and chat privately or in groups. Remote Realtime lets viewers search and mark up streamed text in a browser, while exhibits can be shared and annotated without uploading them. Users can organize multiple depositions for a case in one place, monitor reporter connections and review logs of connected participants. Reporters can stream from CAT software; Case Catalyst setup and CAT Shuttle for other applications are listed. Clients can view streams in a browser without downloading software. Events can be scheduled independently or with concierge assistance, and White Glove support provides an operator for technical needs, breakout rooms, text streaming and exhibits. Training is offered live online, on demand or in person. The company says it has served court reporters since 1996. Pricing is available on request; the FAQ directs customers to contact staff for current per-connection pricing.
vTestify
vTestify is a legal platform for remote depositions and virtual or hybrid proceedings, with pricing available on request. It combines HD video conferencing with tools to upload, preview, stamp, annotate, and share digital exhibits. A Case Dashboard connects proceedings under a case and provides access to private and team exhibits across those proceedings. Uploaded exhibits stay hidden from other participants until shared on the record, and permissions control who can view or annotate them. Native exhibit management supports PDFs, PNG and JPG images, and Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files; other file types can be shown by screen sharing. Each deposition supports up to 50 HD video participants on PC, Mac, or iOS devices, and guests may join a specific proceeding through a link without an account. ScriptSync records attendees on separate audio channels and provides searchable speech-to-text, while Stenograph CaseViewNet integration displays realtime transcript text. ScriptSync cannot be exported, and its speech-to-text is not stenographer-accurate. Android and iOS devices are supported, as are current Chrome, Edge, and Safari browsers.
