In their own words

Repper

Repper turns a source image into a seamless, tileable pattern that users can adjust and export. It offers more than 30 tiling styles, including classic wallpaper groups and the Penrose Diamond, plus color controls and effects such as duotone, black-and-white, gradients, halftone, and Metamorphosis. Users can start from bitmap or vector images or browse more than a million Unsplash photos inside the app. Repper also offers 3D previews of products including clothing, pillows, scarves, notebooks, and fabric. Export formats include JPEG, PNG, and SVG/vector; the Pro membership page lists exports up to 35k × 35k pixels. Desktop and tablet access runs in a browser without installation, and Repper Mobile runs in a phone browser on iOS and Android. The mobile and desktop apps are separate, so designs cannot be accessed across both. Repper Mobile is free, but uploads are limited to the first two weeks and exports are simplified. Pro Monthly costs $12.99 a month, including taxes, and includes commercial use rights, 3D preview and export, and account sync and backup.

Tiler

Tiler creates seamless repeating patterns from artwork you supply. Set a field in millimeters, add SVG artwork, then place motifs by hand or scatter them using controls for count, size, size variation, rotation, mirroring, and spacing. Choose straight, half-drop, half-brick, or mirror repeats. Individual placements can retain their colors or use one ink, with separate opacity controls; backgrounds can be a ground or transparent. Export a true-size SVG tile, a PNG at 72–600 dpi, or a PDF sheet in several page sizes. The SVG stays vector, while the PDF sheet is rasterized at the selected resolution. SVG is the only supported input, so photographs and scans need tracing before import. Tiler runs in a web browser and requires no account. BoxLab says artwork is read, drawn, and written in the browser, not uploaded, and script-capable content is stripped from imported SVGs. It presents the tool for gift wrap, textiles, packaging, stationery, print, prepress, and screen backgrounds.
