In their own words
Restream
Restream lets users create videos, livestream across multiple social platforms and interact with viewers. Users can go live from a browser, use the web-based Studio or connect streaming software such as OBS and Zoom. Studio offers graphics, viewer comments and guest invitations; Restream Chat gathers comments from connected platforms in one place. Upload & Stream schedules recorded video to broadcast live, including while the user is offline. Clips can turn moments from streams and videos into short-form content with framing and captions. Restream supports more than 30 destinations, plus custom RTMP channels and integrations including YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Kick and Vimeo. Cloud recordings are available online for access and sharing; listed plans allow 6 to 10 hours per stream. The free plan streams to two channels at once and includes Restream branding. Standard costs $19 a month for three channels without branding; Professional costs $49 a month and Business costs $239 a month. Annual pricing saves 20%. Studio screen sharing works in desktop browsers, not mobile browsers.
Switcher Studio
Switcher Studio is a multicamera live streaming and video production platform for producing streams, videos and social content. It can synchronize devices for up to nine camera angles, with real-time camera switching and editing, graphics, screen sharing, remote guests and recording. The main production app runs on iPhone, iPad or Mac; Android devices can join as wireless camera angles. Direct streaming integrations are listed for Facebook, YouTube and Twitch, with custom RTMP available for other platforms. A web dashboard manages videos, platforms, billing and profile settings. The Studio plan includes 10 hosted videos, while Suite includes up to 100. Suite also supports event tickets, pay-to-watch content and subscriptions through Stripe, with a stated $0.99 fee per transaction. Both plans include self-serve help articles and email support; Suite adds one-on-one launch support. Pricing is listed from $45/mo (annual), with a 14-day trial and no free plan. The listed Studio plan is $65/mo with monthly billing; Suite is $79/mo for the first month and renews at $99/mo. The maker highlights churches, sports teams and creators as audiences.
