In their own words
Revisely
Revisely is a web service for students, teachers and professionals creating learning materials from uploaded or pasted content. Its AI tools generate summaries, flashcards and quizzes. Flashcards can come from pictures, notes, PDFs, PowerPoints and other documents, then be practiced, shared, printed or exported. Quiz generation uses notes, textbooks, PDFs or PowerPoints and can help edit questions and assess answers. A notes tool can extend, shorten, rephrase, proofread, translate or change a text’s tone. The video summarizer accepts publicly viewable YouTube links, with summaries users can edit. Generators support content in over 50 languages. Uploads include PNG, JPG, JPEG, PDF, DOCX and PPTX files, plus typed text. The free Basic plan allows five AI-chat messages daily, five pages per document and 25,000 characters per text upload. Annual billing costs $4.99 per month, billed annually; monthly billing costs $11.99 per month. Flashcards export to Anki or text formats, while quiz exports to Moodle, Canvas or Blackboard require Professional or Business plans.
StudyTab
StudyTab is an AI study workspace that brings together notes, flashcards, source materials, a knowledge graph and an AI tutor. It accepts PDFs, web pages, videos and photos of notes, which users can organize by subject. The tutor answers from uploaded materials and cites the page or note it used. The product lists ten flashcard types, including cloze, multiple choice, matching, picture quiz and audio, plus FSRS and classic SM-2 scheduling that can be configured by deck. Standard .apkg Anki decks can be imported with scheduling data when the relevant option is enabled, though per-review answer logs and add-ons do not transfer. The Progressive Web App can cache downloaded decks for offline review and sync progress after reconnecting. StudyTab runs on Android, iOS and web. It has a free plan; Pro is ₹199/mo and Premium is ₹499/mo.
