In their own words
Rocket Tronc
Rocket Tronc is a cloud-based platform for distributing tronc at restaurants, bars, pubs, cafés, hotels, and multi-venue groups in the UK and Ireland. Its rules engine supports equal splits, points, hours, role or seniority, departments, and hybrid distributions. A Troncmaster can preview, audit, and approve a distribution before it is sent to payroll. The product describes automatic HMRC rule enforcement, timestamped audit records, independence controls, a compliance dashboard, and a TRONC policy generator. Employees can view their distribution breakdowns, and the platform generates statements. Reporting includes live totals, trends, breakdowns, multi-venue roll-ups, and location detail, with CSV or PDF payroll exports. Listed integrations include RocketOS EPOS, Sona HR, and Xero Payroll; Lightspeed, Fourth, and S4Labour are described as coming soon. Rocket Tronc is part of the RocketOS suite but can also work as a standalone product. The Free plan covers one location and up to 10 employees. Pro starts at £0.50/mo, billed according to active employees across locations, and offers a 7-day trial with all features and no credit card required.
