Overview

Salonify connects customer appointment discovery and booking with tools for running a salon, from client records and staff scheduling to POS and marketing. Customers book through a public page that displays real-time availability and sends automatic confirmations and reminders.

Its intended users include hair salons, barbershops, nail and beauty studios, spas, massage providers and tattoo businesses. The company is based in Luxembourg and says it serves salons across Europe, supports 12 languages and handles multiple currencies. That regional orientation is useful for businesses serving varied local markets.

Key features

Bookings and salon operations

A shared calendar, staff roles and schedules, service pricing, client records, reviews and analytics cover much of the day-to-day administrative work. The staff caps make plan choice consequential: Starter supports two people and Pro ten, while Enterprise allows unlimited staff and multiple locations. Small teams can start on Starter, but a growing salon may need to move up to retain headroom.

Payments and business management

The POS supports card, cash and Apple Pay and is described as syncing with the calendar, inventory and analytics. Salonify also includes invoicing and business tools such as commission rules, retail split rules, tip tracking, compensation reports and payroll export. Enterprise adds accounting, which may matter to operators seeking broader oversight across locations.

Marketing and integrations

Loyalty stamp cards, gift cards, coupons, sponsored placement and an online shop give salons several ways to encourage repeat visits and sell beyond appointments. Google Calendar sync is included with Pro; Apple Calendar can connect via .ics, and the platform lists webhook events and public REST API access. Some integrations are coming soon, so businesses that depend on a particular connection should confirm it is available before choosing Salonify.

Security and mobile access

Salonify describes its platform as GDPR compliant and includes OAuth and two-factor authentication among its features. Customers have native iOS and Android apps, but the business app section remains marked as coming soon. That is a meaningful gap for salon owners or staff who expect to manage operations from a dedicated mobile app.

Pricing

Salonify uses a freemium model: Starter is free forever, and Pro has a 14-day free trial. Prices are shown in EUR and billed monthly for the paid plans.

Plan	Price	What it includes	Best fit
Starter	Free	Up to 2 staff members, public business profile, online booking page, email reminders and basic analytics	Solo operators and very small teams testing online bookings
Pro	5900.00 EUR per month, billed monthly	Up to 10 staff members, advanced analytics, loyalty program, gift cards, SMS reminders and Google Calendar sync	Salons needing a larger team capacity and expanded retention and reminder tools
Enterprise	9900.00 EUR per month, billed monthly	Unlimited staff, multiple locations, accounting, white-label option, priority support and onboarding	Multi-location businesses that need room to scale and enterprise additions

Starter keeps the cost at zero but limits a business to two staff and basic analytics; it also omits the listed loyalty program, gift cards, SMS reminders and Google Calendar sync included in Pro. Pro raises the team cap to ten, while Enterprise is the only tier with unlimited staff and multiple locations. The displayed paid-plan prices are substantial, so salons should weigh those additions against their team size and operational needs before committing.

Salonify lists email support and live chat Monday through Friday, 9:00–18:00 CET; it says email replies typically arrive within 24 hours. Enterprise adds priority support and onboarding.

Platforms

Salonify supports Android, iOS, web and API access. The customer-facing native apps are available on iOS and Android; the business app is still coming soon, so the platform list should not be read as a ready-made business mobile app.

Who it's for

Salonify is a good fit for European beauty and wellness providers that want customer booking, salon operations and marketing in a single platform, particularly businesses with multiple languages or currencies in their customer base. The free Starter plan suits an operator with no more than two staff and modest reporting needs. Larger teams, multi-location operators and businesses that need SMS reminders, loyalty features or accounting will need to assess the paid tiers.

It is a weaker choice for teams that require a dedicated business mobile app today, or for small salons that would not use the paid-plan additions enough to justify the listed monthly prices.

Pros and cons

Pros: The public booking page combines real-time availability with automatic confirmations and reminders, reducing routine appointment coordination.
Pros: The platform brings POS, staff scheduling, client records, marketing and payroll-related tools together, with features for both appointment revenue and retail operations.
Pros: A free-forever tier gives teams of up to two a way to use online booking, email reminders and basic analytics without a subscription.
Cons: The business app is not yet available, limiting the appeal for owners and staff who want dedicated mobile management.
Cons: Starter has a two-person cap, and expanding to Pro or Enterprise means paying the listed monthly prices.
Cons: Some integrations are still coming soon, which can make Salonify unsuitable where a specific connection is essential immediately.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison, see Salon Commission Management Software.

SalonApp is another freemium option with Android, iOS and web support; its free tier allows up to 15 clients, 20 appointments a month and one staff member, making it worth considering for a tightly capped solo operation. Salonist offers a free marketplace-listing tier with 50 appointments a month, online booking, calendar and scheduling, and staff shift management, so it may suit a business whose immediate priority is appointment handling.

DaySmart Salon has no free plan, but its Basic plan is 29.00 USD per month and it supports Windows as well as mobile and web platforms; consider it if Windows access matters. LABÉAU is a paid option with Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows support, and its Silver plan costs 174.92 MYR per month on a 12-month plan; it may be relevant to buyers comparing that platform mix and term.

Orbis Salon starts with a Lite plan at 4.99 GBP per month, but caps it at one staff member, one location, 30 bookings a month and five services, with a 50p booking service fee per booking; it is a lower-cost alternative for a solo operator able to work within those limits. GlossGenius is paid-only, with a Standard plan at 28.00 USD per month and support for Android, iOS and web; consider it if you are comparing paid salon software in those platforms.

Kitomba is a paid option with online booking, stock management, POS with integrated EFTPOS and marketing tools. Meevo is another paid option, supports Android, API, iOS, macOS, web and Windows, and lists 5 users, 2,500 email contacts and 100 SMS marketing credits in its Lite salon and spa plan.

Verdict

Salonify is a strong candidate for European salons that want bookings, payments, marketing and operational tools under one roof, especially if Starter's two-person limit is enough or the business needs Enterprise's multi-location support. Its customer booking and management breadth is the main reason to choose it; the unavailable business app and the substantial listed prices for larger teams are the clearest reasons to look elsewhere.
