Virtru Data Security Platform
Virtru Data Security Platform protects sensitive data shared through email, files, SaaS applications, and mission-partner environments. Its controls remain with shared data beyond an organization’s perimeter, allowing users to revoke or expire access after sharing. Attribute-based access control applies policies using attributes tied to data and identities. Virtru says it encrypts data in transit and at rest with AES-256. The platform uses Trusted Data Format and supports Zero Trust Data Format and related metadata variations. Deployment can be on-premises, in a virtual private cloud, as managed SaaS, self-managed, or fully air-gapped. Listed integrations include Outlook, Exchange, Gmail, SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, Windows, Confluence, and Zendesk. Detailed audit telemetry supports compliance work, while listed resources include FedRAMP, SOC 2, PCI DSS, CMMC, FIPS 140-3, and HIPAA. Starter costs $119 a month billed annually for five users; Business costs $219 a month billed annually for five users; Compliance costs $499 a month billed annually for five users.
