In their own words
Security Vision UEBA
Security Vision UEBA builds behavioral models for users, accounts, devices, hosts and processes, then detects deviations in activity and traffic. Its analysis combines correlation rules, statistical methods and machine learning to identify suspicious behavior and incidents. It can analyze raw data from data lakes, SIEM, next-generation firewalls, proxy servers, and Windows or Linux devices. Configured connectors support SIEM systems, Cisco, CheckPoint, Palo Alto and Juniper network devices, Squid and Blue Coat proxies, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Windows and Linux logs. Users can add or adapt Sigma and correlation rules with a correlation rule editor. UEBA can enrich incident data and send events or incidents to SOAR or SIEM. Response actions can include adding entries to NGFW blocklists or SIEM active lists. Its API provides alarms, suspicious events and object alerts. Deployment is on premises; the maker says its machine-learning models run on customer infrastructure without sending data to the cloud. It is paid with individual pricing, and license type and support level affect cost.
Veriato Insider Risk Management
Veriato Insider Risk Management (IRM) combines user activity monitoring and behavioral analysis to help organizations identify insider risk. Its AI risk scoring draws on more than 130 kinds of activity, including email, messages, screenshots, files, documents, and keystrokes. Organizations can configure monitoring and alerts, detect and redact sensitive data, and set recording policies. Dashboards, reports, export options, and an action audit log support review and recordkeeping. Veriato lists Microsoft 365 integration and an open RESTful API, with its demo showing visibility across Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Deployment can be cloud, on-premises, or hybrid. Supported monitoring devices include Windows, Mac, Chrome, and Android; the listed platforms also include API and self-hosted use. Customers control what activity data is collected and how it is stored. SSO and MFA are listed security features. Pricing is by custom quote, with a 20-user minimum; one license covers each monitored employee regardless of device count.
