sedApta Factory Scheduling
sedApta Factory Scheduling coordinates production resources, machinery, and workforce for manufacturing plans. Its finite-capacity scheduling uses actual machine, operator, and material constraints, plus shifts, skills, setup times, logistics limits, production rules, and material consumption. Orders can be sequenced to reduce setup time, balance workloads, and respect priorities. Planners compare scenarios and review possible effects on deliveries, capacity, costs, and KPIs before confirming a plan. An interactive Gantt interface shows sequences and lets planners adjust them around urgent orders, bottlenecks, and disruptions. When machinery goes down, materials are missing, or urgent work arrives, the schedule can recalculate. The product communicates with MES software and other sedApta modules, using shop-floor information such as production progress, scrap, machine availability, and material consumption. It is described for discrete and process manufacturing, food and beverage, and fashion and luxury, and for organizations of all sizes. Pricing is available on request.
