In their own words
SepticMind
SepticMind is web software for septic service businesses that predicts when customers may need service, plans routes, and helps automate compliance. Its predictions use tank size, household size, and service history to estimate pumping intervals; the homepage claims 85%+ accuracy for pump dates. Fleet features include real-time GPS tracking with tank levels and driver status, while route planning accounts for traffic and tank capacity. The product lists disposal-manifest generation, certification tracking, automated customer text and email reminders, revenue forecasting, customer analytics, and operational insights. Free tools cover tank sizing, pumping schedules, drainfield sizing, routes, job costs, and system health without a login. The Help Center offers an AI chat described as available 24/7 for septic service questions, plus an offline-use guide for field technicians who may lose signal. SepticMind lists encryption in transit and at rest, secure cloud infrastructure, security audits, and access controls. Its privacy policy says service providers may include hosting, payment, analytics, and AI model providers, and that personal information is not sold to third parties.
SepticSync
SepticSync brings customer and property records, scheduling, county paperwork, and payments together for septic service providers and municipalities. Its county-form tools find septic forms, make them fillable, and can populate them with customer, property, and job details. Mobile field workflows support inspections with photos, GPS coordinates, signatures, and digital forms. The Growth plan includes two-way QuickBooks syncing for invoices, payments, and customer records. Other listed connections include parcel and tax-map data, FEMA flood zones, spill reports, ownership-change flags, and delivery of completed forms to counties. SepticSync says its AI can assess inspection photos for issues including cracks, corrosion, and root intrusion, with risk windows of 6, 12, and 24 months. The free plan covers county forms only; saving records, scheduling, and invoicing start with Starter at $125 a month. Starter supports up to two users, while Growth costs $349 a month and Pro costs $599 a month. The field app is available on Android; the iPhone version is with Apple for review.
