Overview

Wallist divides its plans between business visibility and service operations. Promote covers profiles and tools for attracting leads; Operate handles clients and jobs, with scheduling and team features in higher tiers. That separation lets a business buy only the side it needs, but combining promotion with job management can mean paying for both plan families.

The 30-day trial includes all features and requires no credit card. It gives a business a chance to assess the broader toolkit before committing, while the free Promote plan is a lasting option for a profile rather than a replacement for paid operational tools.

Key features

Profiles and customer intake

Wallist's profile builder uses AI to generate a logo, hero image, overview, and about-us description, all editable by the user. Promote tiers add lead and website capabilities as they rise. This can suit a service business building its public presence; a company that already has its own site and reliable lead flow may get less from paying for Promote upgrades.

Estimates, jobs, and customer approvals

Estimates can include services, discounts, tax rates, attachments, and terms and conditions. Customers can review and approve estimates and pay invoices through the branded Client Hub, giving the business a customer-facing step in the workflow rather than relying only on internal job tools. Operate Starter includes estimates, invoices, payment tracking, and client and lead management; scheduling and dispatch begin with Operate Business.

Scheduling and communication

Wallist supports drag-and-drop rescheduling and sends appointment updates, reminders, and on-the-way notices by SMS and email. Those tools make the Business tier more relevant to teams coordinating visits than Starter, which does not include scheduling in its listed package. Job Pros can view and update only jobs assigned to them, while Administrators have full access and Viewers can only view, a useful distinction for controlling staff access.

Payments and reviews

Customers can pay by card or ACH through Stripe, with fees of 3% for cards and 1% for ACH. Check, Venmo, cash, and other payment methods are also supported. After an online card or ACH invoice payment, Wallist assigns an initial five-star rating that the customer can change. That creates a prompt for feedback, though the editable starting rating is worth understanding when deciding how the review flow fits the business's customer communications.

Pricing

Promote and Operate are distinct plan families, and Operate prices are per user. That makes the published monthly cost only a starting point for a multi-person team; calculate the total against the number of staff who need access.

Promote Starter: 0.00 USD per free, billed Forever. It includes a company profile, photo gallery, service catalog, Wallist reviews, social links, email support, and unlimited users. This is the no-cost choice for a basic presence, but it does not include the lead-generation and website upgrades of higher Promote tiers.
Promote Business: 6.00 USD per month on the annual plan or 9.00 USD per month on the monthly plan. It adds unlimited customer leads, a Wallist subdomain, a verified profile, Google reviews, and phone support. The annual price is lower, while the monthly plan costs more for the flexibility of monthly billing.
Promote Growth: 16.00 USD per month on the annual plan or 19.00 USD per month on the monthly plan. It adds a custom .com domain, unlimited pages and templates, a product catalog, and a featured listing on top of Business. It fits a business seeking more control over its online presence; those satisfied with a profile and subdomain can stay below it.
Operate Starter: 6.00 USD per month per user on the annual plan or 9.00 USD per month per user on the monthly plan. It includes client and lead management, estimates, invoices, Stripe card and ACH payments, payment tracking, the Client Hub, and email support. It covers the core customer and payment workflow, but not the scheduling package in Business.
Operate Business: 16.00 USD per month per user on the annual plan or 19.00 USD per month per user on the monthly plan. It adds job scheduling, a team calendar, dispatch, appointment notifications, attachments and photos, and phone support. This is the practical step up for teams coordinating field work; the per-user basis means costs rise with staff access.
Operate Growth: 25.00 USD per month per user on the annual plan. It adds a dedicated SMS number, two-way texting, subscriptions and service plans, and priority support to Business. It is aimed at teams needing those communication and service-plan tools, but the additional per-user cost is harder to justify if Business already covers their workflow.

The annual plan prices are lower than their monthly counterparts where both are offered, but the monthly options avoid an annual commitment. No monthly Operate Growth price is given. USA-based email support is included in Operate Starter, phone support arrives with Business, and Growth adds priority support.

Platforms

Wallist supports Android, iOS, and web. Its handyman page describes use from Android phones and iPhones as well as laptops, which accommodates both field access and office work.

Who it's for

Wallist is a stronger fit for service businesses that want to combine customer-facing profiles with estimates, invoice collection, and field-service coordination. The branded hub and payment options serve businesses that want customers to approve and settle work online, while staff roles and dispatch support a team workflow. A solo operator who needs only a basic public profile can start with Promote Starter; a business seeking job scheduling must budget for Operate Business or above. Businesses that only want job management, or already have their marketing covered, should weigh whether paying across both plan families adds enough.

On privacy and data handling, Wallist says it shares personal information with service providers that help operate its website and related services, as well as in certain other circumstances. Google Play says the app's developer-declared data is encrypted in transit and users can request deletion; it also says the app may share personal information and photos or videos. Those are relevant considerations for businesses handling customer records and job photos.

Pros and cons

Pros: A free, unlimited-user Promote profile gives a business a no-cost way to establish a presence before buying visibility upgrades.
Pros: Operate combines estimates, invoices, payment tracking, and a customer hub, with scheduling and dispatch available at Business tier.
Pros: Card, ACH, and offline payment methods give customers multiple ways to settle invoices, with the stated Stripe fees clearly differentiated by payment type.
Cons: Operate is priced per user, so a team can face materially higher costs than the headline monthly plan price suggests.
Cons: Promote and Operate are separate, so a business seeking both stronger lead-generation tools and operational workflows may need to pay for both.
Cons: The included review prompt starts at five stars after online payment, which may not suit businesses seeking a neutral feedback request.

Alternatives

For a wider comparison, browse Handyman Software.

Fieseros is a sensible alternative for a business that wants a free plan with 100 lifetime jobs, leads and customers, quotes, a basic calendar, invoices and payments, and before-and-after photos. Contractor+ suits someone who can work within a free tier capped at 250 leads and clients and five estimates or invoices per month. FieldVibe is worth considering for a solo user who wants unlimited jobs and clients for free, accepting one user, manual reminders, and a single device.

Tradify may suit a buyer who wants job management, scheduling with Google Calendar sync, quoting, and invoicing in its Lite plan at 47.00 USD per month per user, and needs broader platform coverage including macOS and Windows. MrTask starts its Solo plan at 39.99 USD per month and includes one user plus a bonus user, which may be relevant to a small crew weighing its stated card-processing terms. Handymanda is an alternative for buyers considering a 49.00 USD per month plan with technicians and managers added at separate per-user prices.

Joist is another option for readers comparing paid handyman software. FieldAx may appeal to buyers looking for an Unlimited plan at 39.00 USD per month billed quarterly, with unrestricted access to all features and no additional Salesforce platform license.

Verdict

Choose Wallist if your service business wants a public profile and a customer-facing route from estimate approval to payment, with scheduling and dispatch for a growing team. The no-cost Promote entry and broad Operate workflow make it flexible, but per-user charges and the separation of promotion from operations are the reasons to look elsewhere or keep the plan mix narrow.
