In their own words
Shiftee
Shiftee is a web-based workforce management service for shift scheduling, attendance, and leave management. Its Basic Plan includes mobile and web apps, shift scheduling, attendance management, leave management, and time-and-attendance reports. Listed capabilities also include GPS location tracking, geofencing, timesheet approvals, and payroll export. Standard adds web clock-in and clock-out, custom clock-in and clock-out areas, workflow management, requests and approvals, and an auto-approval option. Enterprise adds single sign-on, two-factor authentication, an audit log, IP whitelisting, and report-based approvals. Shiftee was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. It is paid, with pricing available on request, offers a 30-day trial, and has no free plan. The three listed plans move from core scheduling and attendance to expanded workflows and additional security and audit controls. Teams can therefore match the tier to their approval, tracking, payroll, or security requirements.
Werx
Werx is contractor management software for trade contractors, covering work from estimates through final payment. Users can create itemized or proposal estimates for clients to approve online, manage AIA-style G702/G703 pay applications, schedules of values and retainage, and track budget-to-actual costs and profitability by cost code. It also supports time-and-material invoicing with labor and material tracking. Werx syncs in both directions with QuickBooks Online on every plan; QuickBooks Desktop is not supported. Customers can pay invoices by credit card or ACH through Stripe. The iOS and Android Field App supports time tracking, Extra Work Authorizations and customer signatures; a full mobile version is described as coming soon. Werx is available on the web, iOS and Android, and is aimed at small-to-midsized contractors, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, landscaping and remodeling businesses. Month-to-month plans cost $49.00 per month for 10 active projects, $89.00 for 20, or $119.00 for unlimited active projects. Inactive projects do not count toward the limit. There is no free plan, but a 14-day trial requires no credit card.
