In their own words
Shifton
Shifton is a workforce management platform for employee scheduling, time tracking, attendance, and payroll. Its scheduling tools can create shifts using templates and constraints based on labor rules and availability, with real-time schedule updates. Employees can clock in and out, submit time-off requests, and use location-based attendance features including GPS monitoring, geo-fenced zones, and location history. Approved leave appears in schedules. A forecasting module generates shift patterns from staffing demand entered manually or uploaded. The free Basic functions plan supports up to 10 team members and includes scheduling, a time clock, attendance, mobile apps for iOS and Android, unlimited schedules and locations, and reporting. Paid access starts at $1/mo, and activating a module can provide up to 60 days of free access; work location control has a 10-day trial. Integrations include accounting, calendar, HR, messaging, and workflow services, alongside REST API access and webhooks. Shifton says its services and data are hosted in the EU, with encryption in transit, HTTPS endpoints, bcrypt password hashing, role-based access, and OpenID-based SSO for Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace. It offers 24/7 support and serves shift-based industries including retail, healthcare, hospitality, and logistics.
