In their own words
SightSinger
SightSinger turns MusicXML sheet music into singing audio demos through a natural-language chat workflow. It is designed for score-led rehearsal and demo work, not writing songs from text prompts or full studio production. Choir and worship leaders can make section references and part-learning demos, including split SATB parts; music teachers, songwriters, arrangers, and independent singers are also named users. The site recommends.xml or.mxl files exported from MuseScore, Finale, Sibelius, Dorico, or Logic Pro. Its multi-track player supports score highlighting, repeats and endings, per-track mute, solo and volume, instrument sound changes, and mix downloads. Users can add movable-do or fixed-do solfege, including la-based or do-based minor options. SightSinger says it detects lyric language and supports Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, Japanese, Thai, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and European Portuguese. Listed voices have voice-specific language and style support. Vocal audio costs one credit per 30 seconds for each vocal part each time it is rendered; MIDI accompaniment uses one credit per two minutes per uploaded score. The web service offers a free plan with eight monthly credits and paid plans from $6 per month.
Sinsy
Sinsy is a free web service that generates singing vocals from musical scores. You upload a MusicXML score, choose a vocal, and adjust settings labeled ALP, VIB, and PIT; Japanese appears as a language option. The system uses DNN- and HMM-based synthesis to model characteristics such as pitch and timbre, rather than accepting vocal input. Sinsy was developed by the Tokuda, Nankaku, and Hashimoto Laboratory. Its version history lists version 5.1 on 2026/05/01, with fixes for parameter-panel and smartphone/tablet behavior. Earlier entries record compressed MusicXML upload support in version 4.4 on 2023/12/25 and the addition of Japanese DNN vocal f01027j_dnn_beta5 in version 4.5 on 2024/12/25. The service is listed for web and Linux. Its Free online synthesis plan costs nothing. The synthesis page says using the service implies agreement to its terms of use. The about page is available in Japanese and describes the research background and version history.
