Speak vs SuperMemo

Speak is a language-learning app centered on spoken practice, with an AI-personalized curriculum available on Android, iOS, and the web. Its learning method moves from phrases used by native speakers to repeated practice, then conversation practice with Speak Tutor. During speaking exercises, the app gives feedback on pronunciation and phrasing in real time. English speakers can study Spanish, French, Korean, Japanese, Italian, and Simplified Chinese. Premium includes the full lesson library, AI conversation practice, pronunciation and phrasing feedback, streaks, progress tracking, and reminders; it permits up to three custom lessons per day. Premium Plus adds lessons based on mistakes, the Speak Tutor custom lesson creator, and unlimited personalized review. Speak for Business offers workplace conversation courses, role plays, pronunciation practice, and an admin portal for managing learners and progress, with customer success and support personnel working with L&D teams on onboarding. A seven-day free trial is available, after which a paid subscription is required. Subscription prices vary by plan, region, and promotions; no specific price is listed.
