In their own words
SpotRival
SpotRival watches competitors’ publicly visible product pages for price and stock changes. It sends alerts by email and browser notification when a price changes or a product sells out or restocks; price alerts include the percentage change. Price history shows how a monitored item’s price has moved. Users can start monitoring from a product page with “Watch this page,” or request a check with “Check now.” Shopify and Amazon work out of the box, and the service supports many standard storefronts, including BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and Squarespace. It is available as a Chrome extension and on the web, with sign-in through an email link. SpotRival says it does not log in to sites on the user’s behalf or access private data. The Free plan costs $0 per month and allows three monitors with daily checks. Starter costs $9/mo for 25 monitors and checks every six hours. Pro costs $29/mo for 150 monitors, hourly checks, and CSV export for price history. All three plans include email and browser alerts.
VantageDash
VantageDash tracks competitor prices and matches competing products to a seller’s catalogue for comparison. Users add a competitor’s store URL, and the service reads publicly shown products, variants and prices. Its AI compares names, categories, sizes and price ranges; uncertain matches are shown for review. It can compare prices per unit when pack sizes differ. Analytics include price trend charts, competitor heatmaps and automated insights. Supported store types include Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Ecwid and custom-built shops. Scout is free at free and covers 3 competitors and 50 products, with up to 5 manually started price checks per month. Basecamp costs $19 a month and includes 10 competitors, 200 products and checks every 48 hours. Vantage adds Slack and email alerts, and teams can collaborate in a shared workspace with role-based permissions. The service says it supports stores in any country and reads local price formats and product names in any language. Some sites block automated visits, so products there can be added by hand.
