In their own words
SQLer
SQLer turns natural-language questions into SQL for relational databases, giving developers a way to add question-to-query generation to an application. It lists MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite. Developers can supply company vocabulary, business rules, schema descriptions and question-to-SQL examples to shape generation. Schema information can be set up through direct connection, GATHERer or manual upload of SQL DDL files, and refreshed as schemas and metadata change. GATHERer runs as a Kubernetes container in the customer's application environment and transfers gathered setup information to SQLer with developer permission. SQLer generates SQL for the customer's application to execute; its product page says results remain in the customer's environment and lists single-tenant security. When a schema spans separate databases, separate queries are required for each database. DaaX reports 96% equivalence to expert-written SQL on a customer benchmark of 300 production queries. SQLer is available through web and API platforms. Its free plan includes 50 NL2SQL queries per month; paid plans start at $199 a month for 2,500 monthly queries.
Text2SQL.ai
Text2SQL.ai converts natural-language requests into SQL and also provides query explanation, fixing, and optimization. Users can supply database tables, columns, and relationships as schema context so generated queries can reflect their database structure. Its Insights view combines a generated query with its results, a chart, and an explanation. Direct connections are supported for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server; other databases can use extraction scripts or AI schema parsing. Safe Mode validates generated queries to help guard connected databases against accidental or malicious modifications. The cloud service is available on the web and through an API, with desktop apps for Windows, macOS, and Linux included in Pro subscriptions. The public API supports SQL generation for Pro and higher plans, and requests use plan credits. Pro includes 100 API requests per month, with additional requests listed at $0.05 each. Pricing starts at $29/user/mo, and a free trial is offered without a stated duration. The maker says it stores database schemas and SQL-related chat messages, but not actual database data. For the desktop app, it says credentials stay on the device and only schema names go to AI providers.
