Stockvault vs Vecteezy

Stockvault is a community where photographers, designers, and students share photographs, graphics, and vector files. Its catalog includes free photos, textures, and illustrations, with new images added every day. Visitors can search by keyword, photographer, category, shape, date, license, and color, or browse curated collections covering subjects and formats such as nature, people, vectors, and textures. Downloads are available without signing up, and membership is free. Members can comment, message other members, and save photos to favorites. Photographs are JPG files; graphics are PSD, EPS, or AI files supplied in ZIP archives. Stockvault lists Non-Commercial, Commercial, and Public Domain (CC0) licenses, and the applicable image license governs use. The site describes the collection as intended for personal and non-commercial design projects. Non-Commercial and Commercial images may not be distributed as standalone images without alteration. Stockvault moderates submitted photos and checks accepted images for quality. Members may upload any number of files if they comply with submission guidelines, but images smaller than 3 MP (2048×1536 pixels) will not upload.

Vecteezy is an online marketplace where users license stock photos, vector graphics, and stock footage from artists. The online service includes an editor and API access, with vector, illustration, editorial, and template assets. Free resources require attribution, and the free tier has ads and feature limitations. Pro subscriptions provide access to over 60 million images, videos, and other resources, with unlimited photo, vector, and 4K video downloads. Pro plans include commercial rights without attribution and $10,000 in legal protection; all content is described as royalty-free once licensed. Vecteezy says it adds thousands of professional-quality resources daily. Pro subscribers receive priority support, while Teams also include dedicated account management. Teams can add seats, invite members, assign roles, and limit billing access to admins. Enterprise plans include API and DAM integrations, SSO/SAML, and up to $1 million in legal protection per incident. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies if fewer than three Pro files were downloaded. Subscriptions can be canceled anytime to stop automatic renewal. Listed download-credit and access plans have no prices shown.
