SVGcode
SVGcode turns color raster images into color SVG vector graphics. It accepts JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, and AVIF files, and uses full-color tracing with SVG as its output format. The conversion engine is a WebAssembly version of Potrace; SVGcode then optimizes the resulting files with SVGO. It runs on the web as a Progressive Web App and can be installed on Windows, Android, and ChromeOS. The app uses browser capabilities including the File System Access API, Async Clipboard API, File Handling API, and Window Controls Overlay customization. SVGcode is free to use, and the project says no login is needed to use it or save SVGs. Its Free plan is free. The source repository lists the GNU General Public License v2.0. It suits people looking for a web-based or installable tool to convert bitmap images to SVG without an account.
Vectorizer
Vectorizer is a web service that turns raster images into scalable SVG vector files. It accepts up to 20 images in one upload, then provides individual downloads through thumbnails or a ZIP archive. No account or software installation is required, and the service works through the internet, including on mobile phones. Conversion usually takes a few seconds, depending on image size and complexity. The site describes uses in visual design, advertising products, plotters, machine tools, and computer-aided design, with applications for artists working from sketches and engineers handling drawings, plans, or technical documents. Uploaded data and generated files remain for no more than one hour before permanent deletion. Personal and commercial use is permitted, but integrating the service into applications is prohibited. Vectorizer may analyze request metadata to improve the service. The free plan costs nothing.
