Tongyi Lingma is an AI coding assistant for developers, with code completion, chat assistance and an agent that can plan tasks and use project search, file editing and terminal tools. It also offers inline code generation, development Q&A, and suggestions for diagnosing and repairing coding, compilation and runtime errors. Compatible environments include Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs and Lingma IDE. The product supports codebase indexing and lists Java, Python, Go, TypeScript, JavaScript, C/C++, PHP, C#, Ruby, Rust and Scala, with support stated for 200 languages. Its agent supports MCP tools, with documentation allowing up to 10 services at once. The maker says the product was renamed Qoder CN on 2026-05-20. Legacy Lingma subscriptions stop renewing from 2027-04-15, and existing subscriptions end service from 2027-09-15.
