In their own words
Tableau
Tableau is a data analytics platform for dashboards, visualizations, and data apps. It offers hosted cloud and self-hosted server deployments, with hybrid deployment listed. Tableau Creator can connect to any type of data. Users can ask natural-language questions for AI-powered insights, while Tableau Agent provides conversational analytics inside dashboards. A knowledge engine and semantic layer support consistent metrics. Teams can publish, author, share, schedule subscriptions, and send notifications. Tableau Cloud supports secure sharing; row-level security, embedded analytics, and real-time refresh are listed. Viewer includes mobile access. Dashboards and data apps can operate across Slack, Teams, Claude, ChatGPT, CRM, and agent surfaces. Tableau has a free plan and free trial, and Tableau Desktop is free to download. Listed annual-billing prices are $15 a month for Viewer, $42 a month for Explorer, and $75 a month for Creator. Enterprise prices are also listed, while some paid pricing requires contacting sales.
Yurbi
Yurbi is a self-hosted embedded analytics platform for ISVs and SaaS teams that want to offer branded, multi-tenant reports and dashboards inside products they sell. Customers can build reports without code, use more than 20 chart types, and schedule delivery as PDF or Excel files. Reports, dashboards, or the full platform can be embedded with an iframe and API, with session-token SSO support. Native database drivers cover PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, and Oracle; ODBC sources include Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and MongoDB Atlas. App Shield applies field-level data controls across reports, dashboards, exports, and scheduled email. Yurbi runs on customer infrastructure and queries application data read-only at runtime; the company says no outbound connection to 5000fish servers is required. Plans are $10,000 a year for Starter, $18,000 a year for Growth, $24,000 a year for Scale, and $30,000 a year for Unlimited. These cover up to 75, 250, 500, or unlimited named users, respectively, with one product, brand, schema, development license, and production deployment. A free trial provides full feature access for 14 days by default without a credit card.
