In their own words
Tablerone
Tablerone is a Chrome extension for saving browsing sessions, restoring tabs, and organizing bookmarks. It lets users separate accounts, projects, holidays, or research into workspaces and switch between sessions. Saved bookmarks can carry tags and notes, with screenshot previews to help identify pages. The extension can recover closed or crashed tabs and automatically discard idle tabs to free memory and CPU. Users can share multiple links through a single importable link or export tab URLs, titles, notes, and other data. The maker says its Mobile Sync feature syncs bookmarks across devices. Browsing history and saved collections are stored locally, according to the maker; selected links are uploaded only when users publish collections. Tablerone documents Google Drive backup and imports from OneTab and Session Buddy. It is available free of charge as donationware, with a free plan.
TabTabTab
TabTabTab is a free Chrome extension for organising browser tabs across windows. It presents pinned, grouped, and standalone tabs in one list and lets you rearrange them by drag and drop. Tab groups and entire window sessions can be saved and restored, while automatic grouping works by domain or subdomain. The extension can alert you to duplicate tabs, merge windows, track tab access time, copy URLs, capture screenshots, search tabs, and clean up automatically. A side-panel overview and dark mode are included. The Chrome Web Store lists the extension with 3,000 users. The project’s public GitHub repository uses the MIT license, and the developer says the extension will not collect or use user data. Support information points to a desktop-browser support page and GitHub Discussions for questions, suggestions, and bug reports. The listed Free plan costs nothing, with no paid tiers or usage limits stated.
