In their own words
Talentguide
Talentguide is a workforce skills platform for turning information about people and roles into skills intelligence for talent decisions. Its shared taxonomy links jobs, people, teams, projects and learning, so organizations can use consistent skills data across profiles and planning. The platform can identify and organize skills from uploaded documents, URLs, connected tools and a predefined job library. Profiles show people’s current skills and levels, map job requirements and courses to skills, and connect competencies to source evidence; low-confidence data is marked rather than treated as certain. Talentguide supports skills-gap analysis, workforce planning, development plans and skills-based remuneration decisions. AI proposes extracted skills, proficiency levels and development options, with people retaining control. Integrations with HRIS, workforce planning tools and LMS systems can send taxonomy data back to those tools. The free Sandbox is capped at five seats; Essentials and Plus are listed for 50 seats and up. Essentials is €5/user/mo and Plus is €7.50/user/mo, excluding VAT.
Talentware
Talentware is an AI-native, skill-based talent management platform for mapping, assessing, developing, and activating workforce skills. Its Skill Intelligence module maps company skills and analyzes gaps. Six modules—Skill Intelligence, Planning & Mobility, Development, Performance Review, Pay Transparency, and AI-Assessment—can be activated gradually. AI Assessment evaluates skills, including hard skills, through realistic work scenarios and standardized criteria. The platform connects with HCM, LMS, ATS, and performance systems, and offers REST APIs, webhooks, and scheduled or live synchronization for integrations, including proprietary systems. It complements existing HR systems rather than replacing an HRIS or LMS. Organizations can create a skills framework from scratch or integrate existing taxonomies, and configure assessments and role-based permissions. Talentware says it complies with GDPR and uses encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and certified cloud infrastructure. It is available on web and through an API, and pricing is on request. Founded in 2023 within Bain & Company's Venture Studio, the company is headquartered in Milan, Italy.
