In their own words
VirtualDJ
VirtualDJ is DJ software for mixing and performing, for users ranging from beginners to professional DJs. Its live-stems feature separates vocals, instruments, kicks, and hi-hats in real time for mashups, remixes, and transitions. The software mixes audio and video, supports karaoke playback, and includes video effects, transitions, and on-screen graphics. It advertises plug-and-play support for more than 300 controllers and supports DVS equipment. Broadcasting options include Shoutcast and Icecast radio, PC-to-PC broadcasts, podcast streaming, and video broadcasts to social platforms. VirtualDJ also describes streaming support for SoundCloud and Deezer, plus Ableton Link and ReWire integrations. Subscription catalogs cover DJ audio, karaoke, and music videos; cached songs can be played offline while a subscription is active. Dedicated iOS and Android remote apps connect over a local network. The free license is for nonprofessional use without professional equipment. HOME costs $4 per month; VDJ PRO costs $19 per month, and Business costs $99 per month.
