In their own words
TestMu AI
TestMu AI is a platform for quality engineering across web, mobile, and AI applications. Its AI agents can plan, write, run, analyze, and optimize tests. The service also supports automated execution, visual comparison, real-device testing, and local testing. Teams can connect it to tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. REST APIs cover test management, execution, and artifact retrieval; webhooks provide event notifications. It can be deployed as SaaS cloud, private cloud, or on-premise. Test execution can run air-gapped, but AI-agent features need connectivity to TestMu AI APIs. The default retention period is 60 days; Enterprise customers can arrange custom retention. TestMu AI lists a free plan and paid pricing from $15/mo (annual). Its named KaneAI plans are billed annually: Starter is $17 a month, Pro is $89 a month, and Max is $179 a month. Enterprise pricing is custom. The company says LambdaTest evolved into TestMu AI on January 12, 2026.
TestPlanIt
TestPlanIt is an open-source test management platform for development teams, bringing test case management, execution tracking, and reporting together. Teams can organize cases hierarchically and use custom fields, templates, shared steps, and attachments. AI tools can generate cases from text, linked issues, or screenshots through providers including OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Ollama, and Azure OpenAI. QuickScript exports executable code for frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, pytest, and Jest, using more than 40 templates. Manual and automated runs have live updates, logs, forecasting, and analytics that include flaky-test detection. Integrations cover issue trackers and CI/CD tools; its CLI accepts results in formats including JUnit, TestNG, and NUnit. TestPlanIt supports web, API, Linux, macOS, Windows, and self-hosting. Self-hosting is free under AGPL-3.0 and can run in private or air-gapped Docker deployments. Hosted plans start at $84/mo billed annually, and a 30-day trial is listed. Hosted data is encrypted at rest with AES-256, and connections use TLS 1.2 or higher. The maker says it is not SOC 2 certified.
