In their own words
Text-Em-All (formerly Call-Em-All)
Text-Em-All is a messaging platform for businesses and organizations sending texts and voice broadcasts to opted-in contacts. It supports two-way conversations, automated messages, scheduled broadcasts, personalization tags, keyword automation, real-time analytics, and carrier registration. Voice broadcasts can be sent alongside SMS or instead of it. The iOS and Android apps handle replies, conversation management, and new texts to up to 15 people; mass broadcasts are sent from the web app. Its free Starter plan includes 25 credits for testing voice broadcasts and texting your own number, but mass texting requires an upgrade. Monthly pricing depends on the number of unique people messaged and starts at $19 a month for 1–50 people. Recipients must consent to messages, promotional messages require express written consent, and political solicitation is not allowed. The company says the service is not HIPAA compliant because messages are not encrypted at rest and standard SMS cannot be encrypted in transit. Integration options include staffing and church platforms, Zapier, viaSocket, and a REST API intended for high-volume messaging above 50,000 messages per month.
TXTPass
TXTPass is an SMS platform for nonprofits to contact donors, volunteers and supporters. It handles mass texts and scheduled outbound campaigns, as well as drip campaigns, keyword-triggered messages and customizable automatic replies. Event features include automated reminders, RSVP confirmations, attendance tracking and real-time updates. Surveys collect responses on a 1–5 scale and show averages and individual feedback. The site says users can import up to 100,000 guests. Integrations include Zoho CRM, Microsoft 365 and a Google Chrome extension; TXTPass also describes connections to business applications such as CRMs, ecommerce systems, scheduling tools and spreadsheets. The service is available on the web, Android, iOS and as an extension. Basic costs $9.99 per month, Standard is $19.99 per month, and Advanced is $29.99 per month; one-time credit options are listed at $15.00 per once and $25.00 per once. A free trial is available, but there is no free plan. Customers must obtain recipient consent and handle opt-ins, opt-outs and HELP replies. TXTPass is not HIPAA compliant and must not be used to store or transmit protected health information.
