vivo EasyShare vs Wondershare MobileTrans

vivo EasyShare is a free tool for transferring files and moving personal data between phones without mobile data. Phone Clone transfers personal files and data from an old phone to a new one in one tap; the phones connect by scanning a QR code. File Transfer supports multiple file types and simultaneous interaction among multiple people. The maker says transfer speeds can reach up to 40 MB/s. EasyShare is available for Android and iOS, with computer versions for macOS and Windows. EasyShare for PC can connect to a phone over USB or Wi-Fi to back up or restore data. The privacy terms say content used for cloning and backup restore is processed on the device rather than collected, accessed, or uploaded to vivo’s servers. Usage and diagnostic data collection is optional when available and can be turned off in settings. Two limits matter for transfers: apps moved during phone cloning may need to be installed manually from Files > Apps, and encrypted data is not backed up to a PC. Some features may also vary by region and software version.

Wondershare MobileTrans is a desktop application for moving data between mobile devices and between phones and PCs. It supports iOS and Android, transfers up to 18 data types, and lists support for more than 6,000 mobile devices. It can transfer WhatsApp between Android and iPhone, and back up or restore WhatsApp Business, LINE, Viber, and Kik. Backups of 18 or more data types can be made over USB without an internet connection. Selective restore lets users choose files without factory-resetting a phone or overwriting its current data. MobileTrans can also restore its own local backups, Google contact backups, and iTunes backups, including to Android. The free tier allows 10 photos for phone-to-phone transfer and 20 photos and videos for import or export. Monthly costs $25.99 a month, Yearly costs $29.99 a year, and Perpetual costs $39.99, paid once. Each listed paid plan covers one PC and one to five mobile devices.
