Xaero's Minimap is a free mod for Minecraft Java that displays nearby terrain, players, mobs and other entities in a corner of the screen. The map can appear as a rotating square or circle, and users can lock its rotation and customize nearby entities as colored dots or icons. Waypoints mark visited locations or coordinates on the minimap and in the game world, with optional teleportation. Cave mode shows surrounding blocks both above and below ground. The maker offers full and fair-play editions; the latter is intended for fair PVP and multiplayer server rules. The mod is mostly client-sided, while optional server installation can add features such as world identification. Supported loaders include Forge, Quilt and Fabric, and listed game versions include 1.20, 1.19.4, 1.18.2, 1.17.1 and 1.16.5. It can work with Xaero's World Map and display chunk claims and ally players from Open Parties and Claims. Server configurations can control use by rank or permission.
