Listen through the exported file from beginning to end. Check for accidental vocal fragments, abrupt edits, silence, duplicated sections, and any voice or sample you did not intend to include. If you revise or regenerate the track, keep the approved final version separate from drafts so you upload the right file.

Handle Credits And Royalties With Care
DistroKid lists automatic royalty splits and collaborator payments. Use those tools only after agreeing with collaborators on their shares and checking how DistroKid applies the split settings. Its YouTube Content ID monetization uses the Social Media Pack, according to the directory listing; confirm current terms before adding it.
Spotify has said it removed more than 75 million spammy tracks in the 12 months before its September 2025 announcement and described a filter for mass uploads and duplicates.
