What it is
Avocado POS is an iPad restaurant system combining point of sale, kitchen display, online ordering, loyalty, text marketing, reviews, and a website. It is presented for food trucks and trailers, cafés, quick-service businesses, and full-service restaurants, bistros, and bars. Orders from a restaurant’s own website can enter the same kitchen display as other orders, with timers on kitchen tickets; DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and Postmates orders can also be integrated. Reports cover sales, labor, comps, voids, and hours, while the AI assistant can answer sales and customer-data questions and make menu changes. The POS can continue taking orders, charging cards, and printing tickets during a signal outage, then synchronize later. Starter has no monthly bill and charges 5% + 15¢ per payment total. Select has custom processing rates and fees for businesses above $350,000 in annual card sales. There is no contract term.
