What it is

Journo Portfolio is a web service for building sites that present articles, photographs, designs and multimedia work. It can extract a title, publication date, image, description and publication name from an online article or portfolio URL. Users can upload PDFs, images, video and audio, or embed video from YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook. A daily RSS or profile-page check can import new articles. Portfolio tools include multiple pages, PDF export, tags and automatic section assignment. Design controls cover layouts, image and font sizes, colors, spacing and columns, with eight prebuilt options. The service offers custom domains, selling tools, video hosting, password or secure-link access and automatic HTTPS certificates for connected domains. Built-in analytics are described as cookieless and without trackers or browser scripts. The free plan costs nothing but leaves the site unpublished. Paid plans start at $7 a month billed annually, or $9 monthly for Plus.
