Spec score 7.7 #14 of 31 in Construction Bid Management Software

What it is

KNTRCTR is subcontractor management software for heavy civil and general contractors, focused on organizing bids and tracking subcontractor performance. Prime contractors can post job dates, scope, requirements, and attachments once for invited crews. The platform supports comparing and leveling bids while keeping the original bid visible. Rex AI scans bids for outliers, missing answers, and past reviews, and can read attachments before an award; it surfaces analysis but does not choose the winning subcontractor. Invited subcontractors can open jobs, ask questions, and submit bids for free. After an award, the job workspace supports contacts, insurance, and a shared checklist. Performance reviews remain double-blind until both sides submit them. KNTRCTR works alongside existing estimating and project management systems, but does not focus on estimating takeoffs, project scheduling, or cost control. It is available on the web. The first prime-contractor seat costs $250 per month, billed monthly, with the first 30 days free; each additional seat costs $50 per month. Invited bidders can use the free bidder plan. Rex AI is described in the terms as a beta decision-support feature, and its output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or misleading.
