In their own words
Aatrix eFile
Aatrix eFile helps organizations prepare and submit year-end tax filings using payroll or HR data. It supports W-2s, 1099s, ACA 1095 forms, unemployment and wage-withholding reports, new-hire reports, and payments, with automated filing. Users can upload or enter information, review and edit forms, then submit them. The 1099 service accepts a federal 1099 file or a CSV or tab-delimited spreadsheet exported from accounts-payable software. Aatrix says it integrates with more than 60 software programs and offers payroll and accounting partner integrations. Its COMPLETE W-2/1099 service mails recipient copies the next business day, files required federal and state copies, and retains employer copies in a secure history file. The preparer software is free to download, while eFiling requires payment. Annual packages begin at $119 a year for 1-5 employees and remain valid for 12 months from purchase. Separate services include federal ACA eFiling at $0.59, paid once per employee and federal-only 1099 eFiling at $0.59, paid once per recipient, with a $29.99 minimum. Aatrix was founded in 1986 and is based in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
